Specialty Management was founded in 1983 by Thomas D. Malcom.  Tommy is an Orlando native who was born in the house on Livingston Street in the 1930’s.    Tommy graduated from one of the earliest classes ever to graduate from Edgewater High School and later graduated from Wake Forest University before returning home to Central Florida.  The legions of people who know and respect Tommy in the Orlando area are a testament to the reputation he has built as a honorable businessman, friend, father, grandfather and husband.

Tommy and his stepson Matt Jordan have worked together for decades to build this family business into a stable and highly regarded member of the Central Florida business community.  Matt is an Apopka native who’s family roots reach back in Florida’s past prior to statehood.  Matt is a University of Florida graduate and, with his family, they are very involved in the local community.  When not working on their historic home, with local community organizations or spending time with their extended family, friends or Church family: the Florida outdoors is where you will likely find the Jordan family.

Tommy and Matt have been blessed with the opportunity to work alongside the many dedicated, long term members of the Specialty team and our clients have benefitted from these enduring relationships.
